Sevananda Natural Grocery Co-op Hires New General Manager, Chris Roland
ATLANTA, JANUARY 20, 2023 — The Sevananda Natural Grocery Cooperative Board of Directors, is pleased to announce we have hired Chris Roland to be the next General Manager of Sevananda. With an expected start date prior to February 2023, Chris comes to Sevananda with over fifteen years of experience in the food co-op industry. He has worked across the nation in a range of co-op industry positions, including extensive experience as a General Manager. He has admired Sevananda since childhood and is ready to take “a seat at the table” as General Manager and as Sevananda’s community ambassador. Chris is an enthusiastic advocate for access to healthy food who strives to maintain a high functioning, customer service driven, invigorating workplace. The Board of Directors also recognizes Sevananda’s staff, along with its Interim General Manager, Garland McQueen. Together, they provided exemplary service during this transition to a new General Manager. Please join Sevananda in welcoming Chris.
